Orange Shirt Day: Gathering Our Little Shoes
When and Where
Description
To commemorate Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, members of the Dean’s Advisory Committee on Indigenous Research, Teaching & Learning (IRTL) will gather to discuss Indigenous-led, divisional approaches to reconciliation.
The work of the IRTL connects to the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada and the testimony of residential school survivors and their families. The IRTL was created to advise the Faculty of Arts & Science in its response and ongoing engagement to fulfill the university’s Calls to Action.
