Sidney Smith Hall, Room 4014
The office will be open for limited in-person advising starting the week of September 13th, 2021 on Tuesdays and Thursdays only for the time-being. Advising appointments are preferred so that proper mandatory COVID safety measures are in place prior to each meeting, however, drop-ins can be accommodated if there is availability but COVID protocols will need to be put in place before any meeting can take place. Please note that the following will be required before scheduled or drop-in appointments: 1) Complete and submit the UCheck self-assessment before coming to campus; 2) Non-medical mask must be worn; 3) Physical distancing of up to 2 metres must be maintained at all times; 4) Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be made available; 5) An electronic form must be filled out prior to the meeting for contact tracing purposes. To book an appointment, please send an email to email@example.com with your name, student number, PSY program, year-level, availability (days and times), and the reason for your appointment.
Please note that pretty much 100% of academic advising can be done remotely either over email, MS Teams, Zoom, or the phone, so if you don't have to absolutely come to the department and/or are more comfortable with remote advising due to the present public health situation, then please send an email to arrange a time and your preferred method of electronic advising. As both the local and global situation improves, our hope is to open up more in-person advising availability.
