Fields of Study


Professor Anthony C. Ruocco is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto Scarborough and the Interim Graduate Chair and Director of Clinical Training in the Department of Psychological Clinical Science at the University of Toronto. He also holds academic cross-appointments at the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health and Hospital for Sick Children. He is a licensed psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Professor Ruocco conducts research at the intersections of clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and cognitive-affective neuroscience. His research focuses primarily on cognition and psychopathology, including symptoms and maladaptive traits, and encompasses cognitive and neuroimaging studies of externalizing psychopathology (e.g., disinhibited behaviours/traits,  personality disorder), suicidal thinking and behaviours, and depression, with a particular emphasis on executive functions.
