Nicole Anderson
Dr. Anderson obtained an AB in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, and a MA and PhD in psychology from the University of Toronto. She is also a registered clinical neuropsychologist. Dr. Anderson is a Senior Scientist at the Rotman Research Institute, and Director of the Ben & Hilda Katz Inter-Professional Research Program in Geriatric and Dementia Care at Baycrest. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Gerontological Society of America, and was Associate Editor of the Journal of Gerontology: Psychological Sciences from 2014-2019.
Her research focuses on how memory processes are affected by healthy aging and mild cognitive impairment, and on cognitive and lifestyle interventions to promote brain health and reduce dementia risk.
