Lecture Outlines and "Selected" Class Slides

Please Note:

Note that we post lecture slides in PowerPoint format. If you use Internet Explorer as your browser and have PowerPoint installed on your computer, simply click on the appropriate link, choose "open" and the slide show will play.

If you use Internet Explorer, but are unable to open the slides, OR if you use Netscape as your browser, you will need to download the free PowerPoint viewer to view the slides.

To print the slides:

Click on "File" then click on "Print". Pull down the "Print What" menu to choose from one of the four different printable formats

At the beginning of each week, we will post the lecture outline(s), linked to the corresponding week.  At the end of each week, we will post only some of the lecture slides, again, linked to the corresponding week.  We will not post the slides for an entire lecture.  The only slides that will be posted are the more complicated or busy slides that would require you to spend too much time to copy and too little time to pay attention to what we're discussing in lecture.

Lecture outlines and "selected" class slides are not a substitute for attending  lectures. Our aim in providing this material is to help you organize the notes you make from lectures.

We highly recommend that you do not rely exclusively on these outlines and selected lecture slides if you miss a class; they are simply not sufficient for a summary of a lecture.  They will only give you an idea of the general topic that you missed.

If you do miss a lecture, then we suggest that you first borrow one of your classmate's notes and then drop by the Psychology 100 Instruction Centre to clarify something about the lecture that you do not understand.

Each date represents one week of lectures, and selected slides will remain online throughout the term.
